Globe Business College Munich was founded in 2006 to meet the needs of a specific group of internationally-minded students looking to establish themselves as the next generation of SMEs, family business owners, and international players on the global job market.

We have a range of accredited business degrees designed to meet the individual needs of our specific group of students. These include a Business Foundation programme, BA (Hons) in Business Studies degree, Advanced Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Management, and a top-up MBA programme via our partner university. Apart from this, Business Summer School programme is also among the programmes organized by our college. Business Summer School and Business Foundation programmes are short term programmes.

Our college is capped. By limiting the number of students, we guarantee an exclusive environment and ensure that each student studying with us has an individual academic and personal development experience.

Foundation Business Programme

The Foundation Business Programme is a course designed to give you an introduction to studying business at college or entering the workplace in a business role.

During your three months at Globe Business College Munich, you will study three courses combining academic business subjects with key interpersonal and study skills.

These courses include the subjects below:

Organizations and Behaviour
Marketing Principles
Employability Skills/Personal and Professional Development

Each subject is taught in a series of interactive seminars lead by experienced lecturers and professors who are experts in their chosen academic field and who have extensive professional experience.

The classes are small and are capped at 15 students.

An optional internship can be arranged at the end of the study period with companies in Munich and further afield. These range from 1 to 3 months and can be paid or unpaid. Students are matched to internship companies depending on their skill set, experience and abilities.

Students who successfully complete the Foundation Programme and wish to apply for academic programmes at Globe College are exempt from the assessment test (in this case secondary school qualifications must meet the requirements of the course of study applied for).

Students who choose to complete formal assessments as part of the Foundation programme can receive academic credits that can be used for further study at Globe College or select universities around the world.

Entry Requirements

The programme is open to all students interested in business irrespective of their secondary school qualification
Students who apply for the programme are required to pass an assessment interview
Students are required to have good spoken and written English (at least Intermediate Level).

Tuition Fees

150 EUR Application fee
4,300 EUR Tuition Fee for the programme
Commitment Fee of 1,000 EUR to be paid on acceptance to the programme, which is then deducted from the Tuition Fee. Fees are invoiced in two stages (before the start of the course and six weeks into the programme).
Internship fee of 500 EUR

Duration

12 weeks, full time, between September–January or February–May.

Homestay or shared apartment in Munich (arranged by Globe College if required).

BUSINESS BACHELOR TOP-UP DEGREE

This is a flexible academic programme that gives an international perspective, combining two years at Globe College in Munich with the third and final year of the degree outside of Germany.

Entry Requirements

High School Diploma, IBCP or Realschulabschluss (Mittlere Reife).
Evidence of English language abilities must be provided (either through a recognised test or at one of our interactive workshops).
All students who apply for this programme are required to undertake a Golden Ticket Weekend assessment or equivalent interactive workshop.

Tuition Fees

380 EUR Application fee

8000 EUR per term for the programme

Semesters run from September to January, and February to May.

BACHELOR (HONOURS) IN BUSINESS STUDIES

A three year Bachelor degree that provides an understanding of key business areas such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Management Information Systems and in addition demonstrates how the national and international business environments are shaped by dynamic forces.

Ideally suited to individuals who want to work in their own family companies, set up their own businesses, work in international firms around the world or progress to Master level studies.

Entry Requirements

High School Diploma, IBCP or Realschulabschluss (Mittlere Reife).
Evidence of English language abilities must be provided (either through a recognised test or at one of our interactive workshops).
At Globe College the average IB grade accepted is approximately 30 points, or mid-range grades for those taking the Abitur, which must include maths and a language.

· All students who apply for this programme are required to undertake a Golden Ticket Weekend workshop assessment or equivalent interactive event.

Students who have less than the required points can be accepted in certain circumstances (for example mature students). In addition, students who have completed the relevant Foundation Programme at Globe College qualify for acceptance on this degree.
